Dear friends, Leroy Brown with Freeze and Peckinpaw cutouts at a convention It is with a heavy heart that I have to report to you that Peckinpaw was stolen from my table at OAFcon in Oklahoma. For over 10 years at every convention or ICECUBES book signing I have displayed my hand painted life sized cutouts of Freeze and Peckinpaw for the pleasure of young and old alike. I originally made them for my first big convention when I decided I did not want to print a vinyl banner like everyone else. I find the banners lack personality and are very expensive. So Freeze and Peckinpaw have always stood on my table and kept me company while I drew commissions or signed books. But on Saturday, October 24th 2026, Peckinpaw was stolen from the Grand Ballroom of the Embassy Suites in Norman, Oklahoma. The cutouts were hand painted with acrylics on foam core boards and were designed to fold up in the trunk of my car.
