Every now and then I’ll post something just for fun even if it’s kinda random. Here’s a 1947 add for Nash Motors. This is a beautiful example of the ‘streamline’ design style of the 30s and 40s period. A lot of trains, planes and cars had this type of design (even some buildings, ie: Chrysler Building). I think it represents a feeling of optimism, modern comfort, style and the idea of ‘going big’ that unfortunately is so lacking nowadays.
