ICECUBES Vol. 2 "THE i'S HAVE IT!" is a 24 page comic book full of friendly frozen fun. Be the first on your block to own a copy by pre-ordering it on Kickstarter. The Kickstarter begins next week and will only last two weeks. This is going to be short and sweet! All the pre-press is done so the book will ship right away. Because you are my favorite fans I am letting you preview this Kickstarter project before launching it. Tell me what you would like to see and what would make it better for you and I'll make the changes before next weeks' launch. Also there is a surprise reward this time: a 'cool' ICECUBES poster! One of a kind, limited quantities, only for super fans like you. So please visit the Kickstarter preview and let me know how we can make it even better.

Moon Drawings: Part 1.

Posted on June 20, 2011 by Leroy Brown
Recently I did a strip that was a little out of left field. I had the idea for a long time and didn’t really know how I was going to illustrate it. So I decided to do a lot of preliminary drawings to see if I could pull it off. I really like the result and so I thought I could share some of the process with you this week. First drawing: crater study with brush and ink. © Leroy Brown View the comic here:

We found an old fashioned drive-in to go to. It was lots of fun and they had pretty awesome paintings on the side of the food building… thought I would share. 🙂 Mr. Soda Pop!

    Comicpalooza!

We had a great time at Comicpalooza 2011 in Houston, Texas! I got to meet some talented artists and comic insiders including Bob Layton (Iron Man) and Don Kramer (Wonder Woman). Boy if I had more disposable income I would have definitely scooped up some original art! Here are some candid pics from Comicpalooza. 🙂 cp04 Cosplay contest.
