ICECUBES the Comic Strip #362

Hi dear friends, welcome to a new ICECUBES comic strip. Peckinpaw is still feeling somewhat blue (and so am I...) But I really wanted to start drawing strips again. Also, please support the strip by clicking on the ads, it really helps! Thanks.

  1. How do you like the colors on this strip? I was looking for a new palette that reflected my mood better and this is the closest I could get. We’ll see how it develops in future strips. My color process is always a bit of a struggle. I don’t have any set rules and I end up experimenting a lot. Let me know what you think!

  2. Happy to see them site again !

    1. Thank you!

Moon Drawings: Part 1.

Recently I did a strip that was a little out of left field. I had the idea for a long time and didn’t really know how I was going to illustrate it. So I decided to do a lot of preliminary drawings to see if I could pull it off. I really like the result and so I thought I could share some of the process with you this week. Cool Drive-In!

We found an old fashioned drive-in to go to. It was lots of fun and they had pretty awesome paintings on the side of the food building… thought I would share. 🙂 Mr. Soda Pop!

    Comicpalooza!

We had a great time at Comicpalooza 2011 in Houston, Texas! I got to meet some talented artists and comic insiders including Bob Layton (Iron Man) and Don Kramer (Wonder Woman). Boy if I had more disposable income I would have definitely scooped up some original art! Here are some candid pics from Comicpalooza. 🙂 cp04 Cosplay contest.
