Hello friends, here's a new ICECUBES strip! It has been difficult for me to carve out the time to do strips on a more regular basis. The fact is that my day job takes up all of my time. For me to be able to spend more time drawing ICECUBES, the strip would need to make money. Right now the only source of revenue is from subscribers. For only $1 a month you can support the strip and read all the classic ICECUBES strips as well as members-only posts.

The other revenue is from clicks on the ads on the website. Although that only amounts to a few pennies per click, if the site could get more ad clicks it would make a big difference. So by all means click on the ads!

My hope is that in the near future I will be able to put together the Kickstarter campaign for the new book. That will be a big boost to the comic and I'm sure you are eager to get a new book as well. Additionally, I am open for commissions. For only $20 you get an original Leroy Brown drawing! Finally, the original art for the comic strips is always for sale. If you can't find it at the store, just send me an email to see if the strip you want is available. ICECUBES the comic strip sketches Well cool ICECUBES fans, some new things are in the works as we roll past the 300 strip mark! This spring watch out for an announcement about the new ICECUBES book! Tintin & Joe Pipo on Free Comic Book Day.

Tintin by Leroy Brown Had a busy FCBD on Saturday. I went to Bedrock City Comics where I met Image Comics published authors Kody Chamberlain and Rob Guillory and I showed them Joe Pipo. Kody encouraged me to keep pitching to Image and other publishers. Bedrock City also said they like and support Joe Pipo, so this led me to think about perhaps crowd funding the first printing. What do you think? Would you support a Joe Pipo Kickstarter? Hi cool ICECUBES friends! As you know I have been working secretly on my new comic project called Joe Pipo (check out the Facebook page here.) Joe Pipo Cover Well, I finished the ashcan pitch that I am sending out to prospective publishers. Keep your fingers crossed! Joe Pipo is a great comic adventure that takes place in a retro futuristic 1980s New York City! To celebrate I will be giving away 5 copies of the ultra rare Joe Pipo ashcan! Here’s how to enter:

ICECUBES drawing table / Joe Pipo Hi folks, lately I’ve been concentrating on my graphic novel called “The Adventures of Joe Pipo in New York.” It’s a completely different format from ICECUBES and the drawing style is a lot more detail oriented. I enjoy the challenge but it takes time! I am hoping to submit the project to publishers real soon, keep your fingers crossed. The Adventures Of Joe Pipo Hey ICECUBES readers! Long time no new strips I KNOW!! So sorry. It’s been a long summer and I truly needed some time to spend with my family and also work on other projects. The main project is ‘The Adventures Of Joe Pipo’ a graphic novel idea that I have had for a long time. I will be pitching it to publishers in the next few weeks with the hopes of getting the first book out within months. Making ‘Joe Pipo’ is fun but a lot of hard work too since the writing and art style are very different from ICECUBES. I will update you as I go along in this quest to finally make this book happen.
