    I notice the site for your Ice Cubes webcomic. Do you think you can do other comic book work in the future like maybe Sonic the Hedgehog for IDW?

    Good Morning Sir: I stumbled across your Leroy Brown/Jim Croce work and was impressed. Great Job. Can you do other animations? I wrote a book several years back that was taken from a record I really enjoyed listening to. I was wondering could you do similar work and what are your cost for a three minute session. Peace

      Oh wow, that’s really cool! Of course, I did not do the Jim Croce cartoon. That was done way back in 1973 by a man named John Wilson for the Sonny & Cher Show. Friday Fan Art!

My great cartoonist friend Eric Cartier sent me this a while back. I originally published it on my other website AtomikComix. I think it belongs here though and it will be the premiere of a brand new feature on ICECUBES called Friday Fan Art! ©Eric Cartier ©Eric Cartier Eric Cartier is a fantastic cartoonist with marquee pedigree. He has penned the likes of Kaput & Zosky with Lewis Trondheim and his own cartoon character ‘Flip’ who travels around the world and gets into all kinds of adventures. Eric is a master cartoonist and the reason he is on the fan page is because I’m a fan of his! Salut Eric, I hope to get together again soon! 😉

Hey, cool ICECUBES readers, here’s a new feature I’m including for 2012! Retro ads. They often have great illustrations, funny copy and hilarious tag lines. They are so cool I thought we could feature them in the ‘Cool Pix’ section of the ‘Icebox’. If you didn’t know it already, the ‘Icebox’ is the blog section of ICECUBES. It’s a Bendix washing machine ad from 1947 featuring a great cartoony illustration by ‘Pony’. If anyone knows who that is please share it with us. ©ICECUBES Well, there you have it, the end of another year of ICECUBES the comic strip! 2011 was a banner year for ICECUBES with the most online visits ever. The strip has more readers, more subscribers, more Facebook fans and more Twitter friends than ever. Here are the year end numbers:
  • 145,000 total lifetime visits with over 10,000 return visits this year alone

    •  2012 will be a make it or break it year for ICECUBES. The biggest milestone will be getting the first book printed. I have been carefully researching printers to get the best quality for the most reasonable price. I want this book to be a collector’s item that you will want to own and hang on to. I also want it to be affordable! Your comments fuel my motivation to make the strip and I want to encourage you to please take this opportunity to tell me what you think of ICECUBES.
