Yes, he is quite magical that way. I think it has to do with his moods. 🙂

Maybe he’s concerned about Freeze or maybe it’s just the reflection of the ice in the late afternoon. 😉

Thank you for the great question! You helped me realize that the information was not updated on the new bookstore site. The Collector’s Edition of ICECUBES Vol.1 was part of the Kickstarter rewards. It is a hand stamped numbered copy of the book. There were 300 copies of the first printing. 200 of those were hand-stamped from 01 to 200. They are numbered and signed copies for collectors who had pledged on Kickstarter. The first printing of Vol.1 is almost all sold out. There are barely 10 copies left, most of them numbered collector’s copies.

I remember these wacky Rat Fink Bubble Gum Cards from when I was a kid. I couldn’t resist this Eskimo Hot Rod one. I just had to add it to my collection. I wonder what Nooky would think about it? 🙂

So here is the pencil for page 2 of Freeze’s movie adventure. Boy, this pencil is pretty intricate. How in the world am I going to ink this?!!! It’s pretty intimidating. Oh well, I thought you might enjoy seeing a preview of the pencils. Tune-in Friday to see the finished page.

Motion Capture!

Posted on December 15, 2023 by Leroy Brown

You’ve all seen how much Peckinpaw resents wearing the Motion Capture suit that Freeze made him put on for his film project, so I thought it would be neat to include this little movie of the new Motion Capture lab at my sons college 🙂

The Making of ICECUBES the comic strip #338.

ICECUBES the comic strip #338 - sketches — ICECUBES the comic strip #338 – sketches

So I thought it would be neat to show the humble beginnings of a new strip. You never know where an idea might come from, so it’s best to jot anything down that comes to mind. In this case, I just had a notepad handy and sketched this down while I was at work. It eventually became strip #338 where Peckinpaw is dressed up in a Motion Capture suit for Freeze’s film! As a bonus to ICECUBES fans , I am making the original art for the strip available to purchase for $50, autographed and personalized. Just click here to go to the ICECUBES store.
