Hi folks, I'm sure you have been missing getting new strips lately. That was because I have been really busy putting together a new book, running a Kickstarter, making a bunch of videos, getting the book printed, getting the poster printed, drawing 48 sketch cards by hand and shipping all the packages...*phew* So in the meantime to loosen up my hand a bit I made this special ICECUBES strip! I hope you like it! :) ps: All the books have shipped! Thank you again so much. If you want to get a copy of the new ICECUBES comic book "THE i'S HAVE IT!" you can order one here: The ICECUBES Store.

book-paginationIn other words, trying to figure out a/ which strips to feature in the book, b/ which order to put the strips in, c/ which order to put the pages in. There are 175 strips featured, spanning almost 4 years of ICECUBES. So the challenge is to put them in a sequence that makes sense. A lot of cutting and pasting old school style with scissors and glue! 😉

Scanning & Coloring for the Book!

hand These days I have been busy re-scanning all the strips for the book. They were originally scanned at 150dpi for the web but need to be re-scanned at 600dpi for the book… Oh well, I won’t make that mistake again! I then need to clean and color all 170 strips. Quite a job! As you can see from the brace on my right hand, it’s taking a toll. All this computer work is giving me a bad case of carpal tunnel syndrome… But, have no fear, you won’t be disappointed because ICECUBES the Book is coming out real soon and will be a huge success! 🙂 Leroy Brown
