ICECUBES the comic strip #305

Posted on March 3, 2022 by Leroy Brown

Well here it is folks! Peckinpaw's very first comic strip, featuring Percy, The Flying Chicken. What a goofy first strip! I wonder what Peckinpaw was thinking? Eggman seems confused. Maybe he is judging Peckinpaw a little too harshly. What do you think? Tell him what you think down in the comment section, he needs all the encouragement he can get. I don't know, Percy seems pretty funny to me. I wonder if there are more of Peckinpaw's comic strip attempts to come in the future? Stay tuned to find out!

Also, remember to support ICECUBES by turning off Adblocker for the website and clicking on the ads, it really helps! Thanks!

In other words, trying to figure out a/ which strips to feature in the book, b/ which order to put the strips in, c/ which order to put the pages in. There are 175 strips featured, spanning almost 4 years of ICECUBES. So the challenge is to put them in a sequence that makes sense. A lot of cutting and pasting old school style with scissors and glue! 😉

Scanning & Coloring for the Book!

Posted on March 29, 2012 by Leroy Brown

These days I have been busy re-scanning all the strips for the book. They were originally scanned at 150dpi for the web but need to be re-scanned at 600dpi for the book… Oh well, I won’t make that mistake again! I then need to clean and color all 170 strips. Quite a job! As you can see from the brace on my right hand, it’s taking a toll. All this computer work is giving me a bad case of carpal tunnel syndrome… But, have no fear, you won’t be disappointed because ICECUBES the Book is coming out real soon and will be a huge success! 🙂 Leroy Brown
