Here's a very early strip that was originally published in black and white. It was featured in the ICECUBES book 'Noise Is News' and was then colored. I remember struggling with the pencil and the inking on this strip, as it required a lot of detail and I was still pretty green at the time. I thought you might enjoy seeing the process animated! :)

      Thanks JP! That strip gave me some problems trying to fit everything in such a small space. Now I know why the old timers used to draw so big! 🙂

Moon Drawings: Part 1.

Recently I did a strip that was a little out of left field. I had the idea for a long time and didn’t really know how I was going to illustrate it. So I decided to do a lot of preliminary drawings to see if I could pull it off. I really like the result and so I thought I could share some of the process with you this week.     We had a great time at Comicpalooza 2011 in Houston, Texas! I got to meet some talented artists and comic insiders including Bob Layton (Iron Man) and Don Kramer (Wonder Woman).
