The magazine is perhaps most well known for premiering the world famous <strong>&#8220;SMURFS&#8221;<\/strong> along with other cherished European comics like <strong>&#8220;Lucky Luke&#8221; <\/strong>and <strong>&#8220;Gaston Lagaffe&#8221;. Spirou<\/strong> had an open call contest for a four page short story and I submitted an <strong>ICECUBES <\/strong>comic.
