Last week a cool thing happened at <strong>ICECUBES.<\/strong> The website got a bunch of visitors from <strong>Belgium! Belgium<\/strong> came in third place for most visits by country. That title is usually reserved for the <strong>UK or Australia,<\/strong> as <strong>ICECUBES <\/strong>is an English speaking comic. <strong>Belgium<\/strong> beat them this week! You may know that <strong>Belgium<\/strong> is the birthplace of the <strong>European School of Comics<\/strong>. Started just before WWII, the school flourished in the post-war period with many international comic stars.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.icecubescomic.com\/today\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/belgiumcomics.jpg\" alt=\"ICECUBES the comic strip\" width=\"550\" height=\"900\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5328\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.icecubescomic.com\/today\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/belgiumcomics.jpg 550w, https:\/\/www.icecubescomic.com\/today\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/belgiumcomics-250x409.jpg 250w, https:\/\/www.icecubescomic.com\/today\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/belgiumcomics-425x696.jpg 425w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 550px) 100vw, 550px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>To celebrate this, I&#8217;ve decided to start a week-long contest to see who knows their <strong>Belgian comics! <\/strong>So here goes: be the first person to answer the challenge (one prize per person please!)<\/em><br \/>\n<strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li> Third Prize: <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/strong>Won by Louis J.!<strong> A cool ICECUBES sticker!
